A native of Radford, Virginia, Dr. Tarasidis received a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, graduating with highest honors. He received his Medical Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Tarasidis completed his general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, MO where he also completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction. Dr Tarasidis has also served as the President of the South Carolina Medical Association (SCMA). He brings to Greenwood ENT the full range of general otolaryngology, including endoscopic sinus surgery, laser surgery, and surgery for snoring and sleep disorders. Dr. Tarasidis is board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He and his wife, Jamie, have two children. He enjoys hunting, and water sports.
