Read Dr. Tarasidis&#8217; farewell message for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Undergraduate:&nbsp;<\/strong>Georgia Institute of Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Medical School:&nbsp;<\/strong>Emory University<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Residency:&nbsp;<\/strong>Washington University<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Residency:&nbsp;<\/strong>Washington University \u2013 Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Flap Reconstruction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Board Certifications:<\/strong>&nbsp; American Board of Otolaryngology- Head &amp; Neck Surgery 1989 Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A native of Radford, Virginia, Dr.&nbsp;&nbsp; Tarasidis received a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech,&nbsp;&nbsp; graduating with highest honors. He received his Medical Degree, Magna Cum Laude,&nbsp;&nbsp; from Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Tarasidis completed his general surgery&nbsp;&nbsp; internship and otolaryngology residency training at Barnes-Jewish&nbsp;&nbsp; Hospital\/Washington University in St. Louis, MO where he also completed a&nbsp;&nbsp; fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction. Dr&nbsp;&nbsp; Tarasidis has also served as the President of the South Carolina Medical&nbsp;&nbsp; Association (SCMA). He brings to Greenwood ENT the full range of general&nbsp;&nbsp; otolaryngology, including endoscopic sinus surgery, laser surgery, and surgery&nbsp;&nbsp; for snoring and sleep disorders. Dr. Tarasidis is board certified in&nbsp;&nbsp; otolaryngology-head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He and his wife, Jamie, have two children.
